English and Communications
The Department of English and Communications teaches students the skills to develop and present ideas with clarity, depth and professionalism. We offer five degree programs; majors in English and Communications, and minor degrees in English, Communications and Philosophy. The department also oversees music studies.
- English – Enabling students to write, speak and think critically.
- Communications – Advanced writing, editing and production experience in print and electronic media.
- Music – Norwich is home to the oldest marching band in the country.
- Philosophy Minor – Explore the ethical experience of personal and political behavior.
