The Norwich Chameleon – a literary journal
The Chameleon Literary Journal is a student-led publication that highlights Norwich University student submissions from across campus.
We publish art, photography, drama, fiction, creative nonfiction and poetry from students of all majors. The Chameleon was founded in 1961 and has been publishing student work since then. In 2013, we overhauled the layout and design of The Chameleon, so be sure to check out our stunning new look.
For more information or to join our staff, contact Prof. Sean Prentiss at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Chameleon is student run. Our 2014-2015 editor is Abigael Donahue, a three year member of The Chameleon team. Before this year, Abi was first a reader and then a genre editor. She assumes the title of editor in chief from Katherine Proffitt, who led us through a complete redesign of layout of The Chameleon.
The advisor for the literary journal is Professor Sean Prentiss. He joined The Chameleon Literary Journal in 2012. He teaches creative writing at Norwich. He is the co-editor of the anthology on creative nonfiction, The Far Edges of the Fourth Genre: Explorations in Creative Nonfiction.
All Norwich University students are invited to submit creative work until the moment they graduate.
Submit through our online system, Submittable.
Submissions are accepted year-round. We make our selections in January and publish in April.
