Whether your goal is to be a teacher, advertising copywriter, personnel administrator or clinical psychologist, the Norwich University Psychology Program will help you better understand and articulate principles of human behavior.
Our students learn the importance of scientific method through graduate-level research projects. One requirement is a senior seminar that encourages psychology majors to explore and research a topic of interest and relevance to their chosen field. This research—which involves data collection, literature review, conducting an experiment with human subjects, and writing and presenting a thesis—covers a wide range of topics from stereotyping to threat perception.
Our students are also encouraged to explore psychological principles outside the classroom through internships and academic organizations such as the Psi Chi and Pi Gamma Mu honor societies. Norwich also offers several options for a minor in Psychology.
